Company Policy

In an effort to facilitate clear and transparent communication within its community, and to encourage a better public understanding of Lumedia Musicworks' operating structure and reasoning behind its policies, Lumedia wanted to share this information with its stakeholders:

Lumedia’s artistic output exists within three arenas: live concerts, short films and Stories, a documentary series - each managed by its own Project Director, with oversight and final artistic decisions provided by Lumedia’s Artistic Director. This necessary hierarchy serves to support our artists and colleagues as they co-create and establish professional relationships in the process, while maintaining Lumedia's brand identity as a quality provider of early music content. All projects proceed from the mission "to bring early music to life."

Lumedia upholds the importance of collaborative environments. Projects develop and expand within a collaborative environment involving several people, each with unique skills. Each Project Director is clearly communicated their role in the process, which requires maintaining good working relationships with team members, and practicing patience, open-mindedness, consideration, and professional behavior. All parties are expected to maintain mutual respect and adhere to this basic conduct of professionalism. At the heart of these principles is respect for people, projects, and policy. The primary goal is to provide a healthy, mutually respectful, and enjoyable environment while avoiding any overt form of activism (political or otherwise), and producing the best output in all creative arenas.

Lumedia Musicworks is a non-profit performing arts organization committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility for all people, both in the workplace and in the community. Any of Lumedia's stakeholders who may have questions concerning Lumedia's policies are highly encouraged to contact Lumedia directly to discuss them—as Lumedia always strives to be open, forthcoming, and ready to grow with its community. We can always be reached at info@lumediamusicworks.com. Thank you for your time, and let's continue to work together to bring early music to life!
