What is Lumedia Musicworks?
At Lumedia Musicworks, we're driven by a mission to reinvigorate early music, bridging the gap between the baroque era and today. While our live concerts immerse local audiences in the depths of this rich musical heritage, our film productions stretch that reach even further, translating these works for the modern viewer.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“A visionary approach with superb music and equally superb musicianship.”
— Michael C., Georgetown TX

Founded in 2017, Lumedia Musicworks aims to reimagine the relevance of early classical music (1600-1750) in today’s modern world. We are driven by a mission to reinvigorate early music, bridging the gap between the early baroque era and today. Our live concerts immerse North Texas audiences in the depths of this rich musical heritage. Our award winning film productions stretch that reach even further focusing on translating these works for the modern viewer.
We perform on historical reproductions of instruments from the 15th-18th centuries. Our musicians are specially trained in historically-informed performance practices. The roster of first-class artists represents the culturally diverse landscape of North Texas, including graduates of University of North Texas, The University of Texas, Texas Christian University, The Juilliard School, Indiana University, Royal Conservatory of The Hague and Utrechts Conservatorium.
Lumedia’s holds a digital presence via short films and documentary series. Short films have won numerous awards at film festivals in the U.S. and abroad, and are distributed as in-house television programming throughout Dallas-Fort Worth children’s hospitals. The documentaries are freely accessible online, and taken to Dallas-Fort Worth senior centers as interactive presentations.
