Julianna Emanski, Artistic Director, has led the ensemble since its founding in 2017, performing, directing, and overseeing administration and communications.

Emanski is a Grammy nominated soprano who has performed internationally, and has gained attention for her three octave performance range and a high extension that “soars ecstatically” and is “simply gorgeous” (Music Web International). Her solo voice can be heard on the “Tyberg Masses” and “Sacred Songs of Life and Love” albums with the South Dakota Chorale under Pentatone records. She is a soloist on the world premiere recording of Giovanni Felice Sances’ Missa Sancta Maria Magdalenae on the album “Viva Italia” released by the MSR Classics Label.

Emanski specializes in the historical performance practices of early music, receiving her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Music Entrepreneurship and Vocal Pedagogy from the University of North Texas.

Molly Hammond, Music Director, enjoys a varied career as a pianist and harpsichordist. She is featured as harpsichord soloist and lead actress in the ensemble’s multiple award-winning film, The Last Haw (2021), a quirky portrayal of “Le Vertigo” by 18th-century composer Pancrace Royer.

Before joining Lumedia Musicworks, Ms. Hammond performed with the Houston Ballet, the Houston Symphony’s Community Connections and pre-concert lecture series, and the Houston Chamber Orchestra. Other ensembles include the Greenbriar Consortium, the Foundation for Modern Music and Austin Baroque Orchestra. She is a graduate of the Universities of Colorado and Texas with degrees in piano performance.
